The candidate will work at the FAA&#8217;s site in Egg Harbor Township, NJ but will be responsible for nationwide maintenance through remote access. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a large, complex system with great importance while still being part of a close-knit, growing company.<\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p id=\"u33557-14\">Use your experience and expertise to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-16\">Work with and alongside the current hardware team to maintain and improve all network equipment in a mixed Linux and Windows environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-18\">Administer remote equipment through the FAA&#8217;s Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-20\">Configure network hardware such as servers, routers and switches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-22\">Upgrade, maintain and repair network systems and troubleshoot and solve network issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-24\">Manage servers, manage server operating systems, update and deploy software, implement system wide security measures and perform basic testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-26\">Manage cloud and physical network storage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-28\">Assist network architects with design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-30\">Create and update network related documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul id=\"u33557-29\" class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-32\">Occasionally support other team members in resolving complex issues within the system, provide expert guidance on networking best practices, as well as document and test solutions. This may include interfacing with outside vendors to resolve issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<p id=\"u33557-34\">We need you to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have <span id=\"u33715-40\">strong knowledge and experience in network infrastructure<\/span> as well as implementing, administering and troubleshooting network devices in a <span id=\"u33715-42\">mixed Linux and Windows environment<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Have a strong background and knowledge of <span id=\"u33715-46\">application transport and network infrastructure protocols<\/span> and <span id=\"u33715-48\">digital security<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent writing and verbal skills, a strong attention to detail, be able to problem solve quickly and accurately, and have strong interpersonal \/ team working skills.<\/li>\n<li>Be excited about working in a large team environment, have excellent customer relations skills (you enjoy helping others) and show initiative (you take pride in your team and your work).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And you should have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <span id=\"u33715-60\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science or Math<\/span> with <span id=\"u33715-62\">15 years work experience<\/span> in a CS or math field <span id=\"u33715-64\">.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span id=\"u33715-65\">A Bachelor&#8217;s degree in another technical field with a minimum of 30 semester hours of math, statistics and computer science can be substituted for the degree.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"u33715-69\">(Or)<\/span> A <span id=\"u33715-71\">Master&#8217;s degree<\/span> in any field with <span id=\"u33715-73\">30 semester hours of math, statistics and \/ or computer science<\/span> with <span id=\"u33715-75\">12 years work experience<\/span><span id=\"u33715-76\"> in a CS or math field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"u33715-78\">(Or)<\/span> A <span id=\"u33715-80\">PhD or Doctorate<\/span> in a related field with <span id=\"u33715-82\">30 semester hours of math, statistics and \/ or computer science<\/span> with <span id=\"u33715-84\">3 years work experience<\/span><span id=\"u33715-85\"> in a CS or math field.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preferences<\/h2>\n<p>We would love you to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-94\"><span id=\"u33715-93\">Have knowledge of and experience with Checkpoint firewalls.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-96\"><span id=\"u33715-95\">Have worked with Raritan KVM switches.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-98\"><span id=\"u33715-97\">Have worked with F5 load balancers \/ proxy servers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul id=\"u33715-101\" class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-100\"><span id=\"u33715-99\">Have knowledge of and experience with Avtech environmental sensors.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Benefits<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-106\">Health insurance available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-108\">Retirement savings plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-110\">2 weeks vacation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul id=\"u33715-113\" class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n<li id=\"u33715-112\">Close-knit, growing company working on significant projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For a full job description and to apply, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foveaaero.com\/network_admin_rmls_13.html\">click here now<\/a>!<\/h4>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Network Administrator &#8211; Mixed Windows and Linux Environment Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey Summary Fovea Aero is adding to our team a full-time network administrator to be responsible for maintaining and improving network equipment in a mixed Windows and Linux environment.
